Electric Jaguar Baby

Based in Paris, Electric Jaguar Baby has developed since the mid-2010s a duo format that blends garage rock, stoner, psych rock and hard rock, driven by fuzz with a pronounced 1970s aesthetic and a taste for dark, occult atmospheres. Electric Jaguar Baby was originally built around a DIY ethos, releasing three EPs before their self-titled debut album, Electric Jaguar Baby, which appeared in 2019. The record notably features contributions from Bonnie Bloomgarden of Death Valley Girls and Gabriel Ravera of Mephistofeles. The band's trajectory has been largely shaped by the live scene, with several European tours over a few years and concerts alongside acts from the garage, heavy and psych scenes. After the planned halt to dates in 2020, Electric Jaguar Baby resumed performing and released Psychic Death Safari in 2022, followed by the live album Supersonic Live in 2024, recorded at the Supersonic Club in Paris. On record and on stage, Electric Jaguar Baby favors direct riffs, emphatic tempos and vocals that bridge rock'n'roll energy, stoner weight and psychedelic tension.
