re:ni

Emerging from the London scene, re:ni has developed a club-focused approach informed by drum & bass, dubstep and a prominent sound system culture in her selection work. Her sets link these influences to bass-driven techno, electro, jungle and breaks, with transitions that traverse tempos without aiming for linearity and a constant attention to fractured rhythms, deep lows and dub‑style textures. This aesthetic has placed re:ni on the European club circuit, where she has played venues such as Panorama Bar, De School, Robert Johnson and fabric. Her trajectory also includes radio: in 2019 re:ni was selected for the inaugural edition of the NTS WIP programme, before developing the monthly NTS show re:lax with Laksa, conceived as an exploratory space between British bass music and contemporary club sounds. Alongside her DJ work, re:ni began producing in the early 2020s, releasing a first EP on Ilian Tape that intersects UK heritage, percussive tension and more continental forms of electronic music.
