Mosey
Under the name Mosey, Pierre Sarkozy has been building a career as a French hip‑hop producer and composer since the late 2000s. Born in 1984 in Savigny‑sur‑Orge, Essonne, he initially worked anonymously within the rap scene, contributing to tracks by Poison, including “La Rue”, and later collaborating with David Banner and Doc Gynéco, for whom he produced the album Peace Maker in 2008. His work belongs to studio‑centred hip‑hop, prioritizing production, rhythmic writing and soundtrack formats over performance. Mosey also composes for visual media: he contributed several pieces to the score of the film Seuls Two, continued in that vein with the original music and musical supervision for Rue des Dames in 2022, and provided additional music for Quatre Zéros in 2024. Alongside his producer and composer activities, Mosey has developed a DJ and remix‑oriented side, notably illustrated by his reworking of “Miss You” in 2017. Between rap, music for image and club culture, Mosey evolves his project across multiple contexts while maintaining a producer’s approach.
