Crimson Shadows

Active since 2006 in Canada, Crimson Shadows evolves at the crossroads of melodic death metal, power metal and technical death metal, with imagery nourished by fantasy and warrior tales. The band first drew attention on the Canadian metal scene with the EP Crimson Shadows in 2007, followed by Kings Among Men in 2014, their first album, where writing takes shape based on fast rhythms, very melodic guitars and a pronounced contrast between extreme vocals and passages that are more heroic. In 2013, Crimson Shadows participated in Wacken Open Air in Germany after winning the international final of the Wacken Metal Battle, an important milestone in its live journey. After several years of activity on North American and European stages, the band released the album The Resurrection in 2020, in the continuity of a style blending death metal intensity, neoclassical impulses and structures close to power metal. Crimson Shadows operates as a quintet and sits in a vein where virtuosity remains at the service of direct songs, propelled by an on-stage energy and a visual and thematic identity centered on fantasy.
