Josiah Queen

Born in Clearwater, Florida in 2003 into a pastors’ household, Josiah Queen entered the American contemporary Christian pop scene by blending worship songwriting with storytelling inspired by biblical narratives. From his teens he posted his first songs online; in 2020 he released the single “God of Miracles,” followed by several self-produced singles that established a universe focused on faith, repentance and hope. In 2024 the album “The Prodigal” structured this initial cycle of compositions around a mix of pop, acoustic folk and first-person ballads, reflecting both the influence of modern worship music and a more intimate songwriting approach. Josiah Queen then joined the Capitol CMG label and in 2025 released a second album, “Mt. Zion,” which broadened the sound toward a fuller band aesthetic, notably featuring Brandon Lake on “Can’t Steal My Joy” and a cover of “Jesus Freak” alongside TobyMac. Continuing in that vein, tracks like “Dusty Bibles” and the 2026 single “Demons” confirmed a repertoire shaped by personal confession, scriptural references and anthemic choruses. Based in the Tampa area with his wife Trinity, Josiah Queen divides his time between touring, church appearances and a strong social media presence.
