Bethel Music

Born within Bethel Church in Redding, California (USA), Bethel Music developed as a worship collective and contemporary Christian music project centered around Brian and Jenn Johnson. Over time it has included various worship leaders such as Jeremy Riddle, Amanda Cook and Cory Asbury. Rooted in North American worship music, the group blends melodic pop-rock, contemplative ballads and atmospheric arrangements designed for corporate singing, with an emphasis on repetitive choruses and lyrics focused on the Christian faith. Initially concentrated on local services and conferences held in Redding, Bethel Music gradually expanded to international tours and live recordings in large venues or churches. Its discography includes the live albums Be Lifted High (2011), For the Sake of the World (2012), You Make Me Brave (2014) and We Will Not Be Shaken (2015), as well as projects such as Tides (2013), Have It All (2016), Victory (2019), Revival’s in the Air (2020), Homecoming (Live) (2021) and Simple (2022), which reflect the collective’s different line-ups and the evolution of its worship songwriting.
