Annie Ebrel

Annie Ebrel is one of the leading voices of contemporary Breton music, renowned for her mastery of kan ha diskan, the ancestral call-and-response singing tradition used to accompany dance. Hailing from Central Brittany, she has devoted her life to preserving, transmitting and renewing this oral tradition, bringing striking expressivity and distinctive vocal precision. A prominent member of the trio Eben with Patrick Ewen and Riccardo Del Fra, she has also collaborated with numerous artists, including Nolwenn Leroy on the album Bretonne.
