Kim Swim

Based in Berlin, Kim Swim develops a DJ and electronic producer project shaped by a trajectory between South Korea, where she was born, and several German cities where she grew up. That mobility is reflected in sets that blend house, trance, techno and bass-leaning textures, with a direct club approach, sustained tempos and a deliberately fluid selection that moves between registers. Kim Swim turned to music after leaving law studies and gradually established herself on the European scene through appearances in formats and venues such as Boiler Room, HÖR, RSO and Watergate. Her activity also takes her to various clubs and festivals across Europe, with dates in Madrid, Amsterdam, Paris and at the Monegros Desert Festival. In production, Kim Swim extends this hybrid aesthetic with tracks designed for the dancefloor, including “Hands Up High”, “ISSA VIBE” on Hot Meal Records and “Floor Is Lava”, made with ANDATA. In this way she promotes an energetic club-oriented writing rooted in crossing styles rather than belonging to a single scene.
