Cuizinier

Under the name Cuizinier, Alexandre Miranda has been developing since the late 1990s a French rap scene born in Paris, at the crossroads of hip-hop, mixtapes and a strongly marked club culture. A member of TTC alongside Teki Latex and DJ Orgasmic, he is part of a Parisian scene that moved the codes of hexagonal rap by rubbing it against electro, baile funk and more synthetic productions. In solo, Cuizinier builds a parallel path centered on the Pour les Filles mixtape series, with the first volume in 2005, followed by Pour les Filles Volume II in 2006 and Pour les Filles Volume III in 2008, mostly in close connection with Orgasmic. His writing plays on pop references, short formats and a direct approach to party rap, without straying from a hip-hop anchor. Over the years, Cuizinier also appears on numerous tracks and collective projects, in the TTC milieu, Institubes and collaborations with French and international artists such as Busdriver, Spank Rock or Pase Rock. In 2007, he also releases a mixtape with Saphir le Joaillier and DJ Raze, before continuing in 2011 with La Crème de la Crème. Cuizinier remains associated with a period when Parisian rap closely dialogued with club music and the circuits between independent scenes.
