Morravey

Born in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, and hailing from the Kalabari people, Daniella Ibinabo Daniel, known as Morravey, developed her singing early on through local events, school and religious settings, before posting covers on social media from 2020. Her trajectory shifted in 2023 when a viral video caught Davido's attention, leading him to sign her to DMW. Morravey then appeared on "In the Garden" from the album Timeless (2023) and became part of the stage entourage on the Timeless North America Tour. Her sound blends afrobeats, afropop, afro R&B and touches of afrobeat, with songwriting focused on romantic relationships, supple vocal lines and often melodic productions, ranging from moderate tempos to more direct choruses. Morravey released the EP RAVI (2023) the same year, driven notably by "Magician" with Davido, "Condo", "High Again" and "What is Love". In 2024 she extended this initial cycle with "Ifineme", "Upstandin" and a remix of "What is Love" with DJY Wagner Musiq.
