Bastian Bux

Born in Barcelona, Bastian Bux has developed since the mid‑2010s a career centered on a very open reading of house, with funky, disco, minimal and tech house accents. His first releases date from 2015, but his relationship with electronic music formed earlier, nourished notably by an environment in which techno already held an important place. In his productions as well as in his DJ sets, Bastian Bux favors mobile constructions designed to circulate the dancefloor's energy rather than to lock into a single school, with transitions that move from a supple groove to drier, more percussive sequences. This approach brought him closer to the international party scene and to the elrow universe, of which he is one of the residents — a coherent setting for his taste for narrative and shifting sets. Bastian Bux has played in clubs and festivals in Spain, across Europe and in the United States, with appearances at Tomorrowland in Belgium, at Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas and during the Space Ibiza closing party.
