Waterlines

Emerging in the United Kingdom in 2022, Waterlines develops a metalcore that incorporates elements of nu metal and electronicore, with songs built around heavy riffs, pronounced breaks, melodic passages and fairly straightforward electronic arrangements. Waterlines sits within a British scene where modern metal readily combines the punch of hardcore with more synthetic textures, without tipping into a purely pop approach. Since its beginnings, Waterlines has progressed mainly through a series of singles, a format that has accompanied the project's emergence and its circulation on alternative and metal stages across the UK. The name Waterlines has also been picked up by BBC Radio 1, a useful marker in its recent trajectory. Onstage, Waterlines emphasizes an energetic, tight formula designed for live performance and direct engagement with the audience. Prior to the project's relaunch under the name Waterlines, appearances were also reported at events like Takeover at Download Festival, Tech Fest and Radar Festival, which places Waterlines within the circuit of British metal and hardcore festivals.
