VALÉ

Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, and later settled in Los Angeles, VALÉ grounds her music in a bilingual alternative pop that blends singer–songwriter craft, Latin melodies, and dance rhythms with electronic textures. She writes much of her repertoire herself, navigating between English and Spanish, with a central emphasis on the voice, catchy refrains, and high-energy productions. Her songs address romantic relationships, family expectations and coming of age in an intimate and contemporary register. Over the course of her releases, VALÉ gradually steers her aesthetics toward a more Hispanophone expression while maintaining a strong connection to her Colombian roots. Her journey sits at the crossroads of North American indie pop and the current Latin scene, and has led her to share the bill with The Driver Era, BETWEEN FRIENDS and Luna Luna. Between Caribbean heritage, a sense of melody, and dancing energy, VALÉ builds a tight and mobile universe, centered on the song.
