Iraina Mancini

Born in London, Iraina Mancini develops a career at the crossroads of pop, soul and a sixties-inspired imagination nourished by psychedelia, French yé-yé and rhythm and blues. She began in the group Mancini, an electro-pop project featured on the Mobile Act Unsigned show and tied to producer Jagz Kooner, before continuing with The Venus Fury in Liverpool alongside musicians from the local scene. Under her name, Iraina Mancini began her solo trajectory in 2018 with 'Undercover', then followed with the singles 'Lovers in the Dark' (2019), 'Shotgun' (2020), 'Deep End' (2021), 'Do It (You Stole the Rhythm)' and 'Undo The Blue' (2022), in a register where retro arrangements, pop melodies and a cinematic approach remain central. Iraina Mancini also lent her voice to 'The War', a track released in 2020 by BT and Matt Fax on the album The Lost Art of Longing. Parallel to her work as a singer, Iraina Mancini also works as a DJ with selections oriented toward northern soul, ska, funk, boogaloo and R&B, and also hosts radio shows in London, extending a musical universe anchored in soul and mod cultures.
