Brothers In Arms

Launched in Germany in 2002, Brothers In Arms sits in the register of a tribute band dedicated to the repertoire of Dire Straits. The group revisits the world of British rock from the 1970s to the 1990s, focusing on guitar work, precise arrangements and the moods between rock, blues rock and country rock that have marked the music of Mark Knopfler's band. Brothers In Arms developed on the German live scene before expanding its dates abroad, with more than 1200 concerts announced along its journey. Its repertoire covers the different periods of Dire Straits, from the most identifiable pieces to titles from a more narrative and melodic side, in a stage approach centered on sonic fidelity and collective interpretation. Brothers In Arms also performs in an expanded format with saxophonist Kai Liedtke, a configuration that allows a more direct recovery of some colors present in the arrangements of the original group. In the landscape of stage tributes in Europe, Brothers In Arms thus occupies a long-standing place, with continuous activity since the early 2000s.
