Osher Cohen

Born December 15, 1998 in Kiryat Bialik, Israel, Osher Cohen took up music very early at the local conservatory, studying keyboard, piano, guitar, clarinet, violin and baglama, and began performing as a keyboardist at age eleven. A musician, songwriter and composer, Cohen belongs to contemporary Israeli pop, with a songwriting approach centered on melody and Hebrew lyrics, ranging from ballads to more rhythm-driven tracks. After several years of study and live work, he released his first studio album in 2018, “Nizkar Be’einea” (נזכר בעיניה), which established the basis of his repertoire, followed in 2020 by “חיכיתי לך”, confirming ongoing recording activity. In parallel, he writes and composes for other Israeli performers, including Omer Adam, Eyal Golan and Kobi Peretz, reinforcing his role as an active songwriter as well as a singer. From 2023 he has explored shorter formats with EPs such as “PART II (Cohen)” (2023) and “NEXT EPISODE” (2024), extending an aesthetic in which the voice remains central over accessible pop arrangements. Active onstage in Israel, Cohen has also appeared at higher-profile events, notably inviting American boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. to join him onstage in 2024.
