Havasi
Trained in classical piano in Budapest, Hungary, Balázs Havasi has developed the Havasi project since the early 2000s around a neo‑classical writing style that blends art music, pop and cinematic influences. As a pianist and composer, Havasi shapes his identity through solo recitals, melodic piano pieces and staged productions featuring symphony orchestra, choir and rhythm section, presented under the name Havasi Symphonic. His concerts tour widely across Europe and Asia with a setup that emphasizes visual impact and arrangements designed for large venues. Havasi’s music relies on immediately recognizable themes, a taste for direct harmonic progressions and strong contrasts between intimate piano passages and denser orchestral sections. The project also explores a more pop-oriented side through collaborations with singers, while remaining rooted in the tonal language of classical music. Through tours and studio recordings, Havasi thus articulates a crossover aesthetics that links academic training, popular culture and film‑like formats.
