Francesco Mami

Emerging from the Italian electronic scene, Francesco Mami has built a career as a DJ, producer and composer at the intersection of house and techno, favoring an aesthetic of cinematic textures, gradual buildups and a long-form narrative. Also active under the name Frankie, he developed part of his approach as a Cocoricò resident, working long-set formats and cultivating a direct relationship with the dancefloor founded on the continuity of the groove. That experience led him to varied stages and contexts, including Circoloco at DC10, the Glastonbury Festival and Robot Heart at Burning Man. In the studio he has released on labels such as Rebellion, Systematic and Ibadan, and he has produced remixes for Crosstown Rebels. His music moves within a precise, measured register—between rhythmic tension, atmospheric depth and progressive construction—without aiming for immediate effects.
