Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge

Led by young American guitarist Grace Bowers, who settled in Nashville after a childhood in California, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge works in a blues‑rock and soul vein shaped by jam sessions and Southern influences. The project grew out of the guitar videos Grace Bowers posted on social media, which gradually attracted an audience beyond the local scene and led her to form a regular band, The Hodge Podge, bringing together several Nashville musicians. On stage, Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge performs both vocal and instrumental pieces, with long guitar passages, a strong groove and an aesthetic close to American roots‑rock bands, ranging from soul ballads to faster tracks. Their career has been built primarily through concerts and festivals in the United States, on circuits oriented toward rock, Americana and roots music, before they began to release their first recordings online. Rather than focusing solely on instrumental showcase, Grace Bowers emphasizes the group interaction, making Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge a project centered on collective energy and songwriting rooted in the blues‑rock tradition while remaining accessible to a wide audience.
