Alexander Klaws

Alexander Klaws was introduced to the public in 2003 by the first season of the German show Deutschland sucht den Superstar. He initially worked in mainstream pop, strongly influenced by ballads and dance-pop. Born on 3 September 1983 in Ahlen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Klaws released his debut single "Take Me Tonight" the same year, followed by the album Take Your Chance (2003) and Here I Am (2004), which continued this anglophone direction. His subsequent discography, notably Attention! (2006), Was willst du noch?! (2008), Für alle Zeiten (2011) and Auf die Bühne, fertig, los! (2015), marks a shift toward German-language pop that blends schlager, variety and rockier sounds, with a strong emphasis on melodic choruses. Alongside his singing career, Alexander Klaws developed a career as an actor and musical performer in Germany, playing the title role in the German production of Tarzan and appearing in the telenovela Anna und die Liebe, establishing his profile at the intersection of pop, television and musical theatre.
