Cortisa Star

Active since 2023, Cortisa Star comes from Delaware and is part of a recent American rap scene where drill, hyperpop and internet aesthetics intersect. Her frontal writing and short tracks rely on strongly punchy bass, tense rhythms and an intentionally abrasive energy, with a tone that shifts from humor to provocation without leaving a very direct frame. After the early tracks 'Begin' and 'Holy Grail' in 2023, Cortisa Star rapidly develops her universe in 2024 with 'Fun', 'Nuts', 'Cortisa Crump' and several collaborations, notably with Native Foreign, Annamae or appearances with skaiwater. 'Fun' circulates widely online from 2024 and contributes to bringing her name beyond underground circles, in the continuation of an already built presence on networks and on performance video formats. In 2025, Cortisa Star gathers part of these tracks on the EP E.M.O. (Evil Motion Overload), released in April, where also 'Misidentify' and 'Paris' appear. Her path unfolds in music, fashion and digital-culture-connected scenes, with an artistic identity marked by a frontal, rough rap, sometimes dancing, and thought for immediate impact.
