Dr Donk

Active within a hard dance scene centered on Germany and Austria, Dr Donk develops an electronic project built on stylistic crossovers — from uptempo through dubstep and drum & bass to slower passages associated with the zaag. He gradually established himself in the mid-2020s with sets that often change direction, featuring frequent tempo breaks, very abrasive basses and blends of registers without remaining tied to a single subgenre. His visual identity draws on a clinical imagery reflected in his performances and communications. In 2024 Dr Donk launched the label Clinic Recordings in partnership with Kontor. The year 2025 marks a new phase with an All Night Long format at Bootshaus and appearances at events such as Defqon.1, Tomorrowland and Rampage. In the studio he has also built a catalogue of collaborations and remixes with Lil Texas, GPF and Yosuf, plus an official remix for Yellow Claw — a transversal hard dance approach combining frontal energy, saturated textures and frequent cadence changes.
