Larizzle

Rooted in the British scene and oriented towards contemporary African music, Larizzle has developed a career as a DJ and producer focused on afrobeats, afro house and hybrid forms that connect amapiano, tribal house and UK funky. He also spreads this culture through his mixes and podcast, adopting an approach centered on the circulation of African and Afro-diasporic sounds. After starting out in the university environment, he helped introduce UK funky to Slovenia and later brought afrobeats to the clubs of Ayia Napa, before expanding his activity internationally. In 2024 Larizzle completed his first worldwide DJ tour across five continents and headlined a concert at the Jazz Café in London. As a producer he releases on his own label, Larah Records, created in memory of his daughter, and has worked with artists such as Alesha Dixon, Ella Eyre, Azekel, Nao and Kool & The Gang. His sets and selections have also been broadcast on KISS Fresh, Capital XTRA, BBC Radio 1Xtra and NTS Radio.
