Courtney Hadwin

Born in 2004 and originating from County Durham in the northeast of England, Courtney Hadwin drew attention at a very young age for a rough and expressive voice nourished by rock, soul, blues and rhythm and blues. Her public trajectory began in the United Kingdom with The Voice Kids UK in 2017 and continued the following year on America’s Got Talent, where her covers of songs associated with Tina Turner, James Brown, Otis Redding or Steppenwolf helped establish the image of a singer drawn to an energetic repertoire drawn from the 1960s and 1970s. After this television exposure, Courtney Hadwin signed with Syco and Arista, before releasing the EP The Cover Sessions in 2019, focused on live-recorded covers. That same year, she also released her first original track, 'Pretty Little Thing', in America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Beginning in 2023, Courtney Hadwin developed a more personal independent project with a series of original singles, including 'Breakable', 'That Girl Don’t Live Here', 'Call Me Back', 'Monsters' and 'Christmas Rocks', which show a writing style located between classic rock, pop-rock, soul and blues influences. In 2025, she added 'Spellbound' and 'You Only Love Me When I Lie', and then released her first album Little Miss Jagged. On stage as in the studio, Courtney Hadwin evolves in a direct vocal aesthetic, marked by grain, intensity and a clear taste for rock forms inherited from blues and soul.
