Under the name Cesare vs Disorder, Cesare Marchese has built a career across several electronic scenes and cities, from Milan, where he lived in the 1990s, to London and then Berlin, before settling in São Paulo. Of Italian and Polish background, Cesare vs Disorder works as a DJ, producer, composer, sound engineer and artistic director, with a practice that connects house, techno, minimal, dub and electronica to a pronounced taste for jazz, bossa nova, neo-soul and hip-hop. This movement between club music and more organic influences runs through his productions, often built on supple grooves, dry textures and a precise rhythmic approach.
