Tigerhead

Under the name Tigerhead, Tereza Krollmann has been developing a trajectory from Berlin rooted in the most oblique margins of electronic music. Born in Bohemia in an isolated town in the Czech Republic, she moved to the German capital more than ten years ago and has since honed an approach that blends techno, experimental textures and a strong sense of groove. As a DJ, producer, musician and vocalist, Tigerhead builds sets and productions where abstraction never overrides rhythmic impact, with a pronounced taste for unexpected sonorities and unstable balances. Her career has unfolded through releases on techno-scene labels, notably BPitch, and through appearances in clubs and festivals connected to the international electronic circuit. Tigerhead draws on a digging culture and broad listening to shape a personal, taut, detailed and mobile language in which club forms converse with freer atmospheres. In this constant tension between sonic precision and physical energy, Tigerhead has found an identity that places her at the border of techno and more experimental electronic writing.
