Sainte Nicole

Under the name Sainte Nicole, Océane develops a project situated in today’s French pop scene, at the crossroads of chanson, synth-pop and retro-textured electro. She emerged in 2023 with two initial singles, and Sainte Nicole has quickly built a repertoire focused on introspective and socially aware songwriting, where a soft voice converses with direct lyrics about heritage, moral norms and the place one seeks to occupy. In 2024, Sainte Nicole released the EP Vanité, conceived as a coherent whole rather than a mere sequence of tracks. The record extends an aesthetic of vintage-toned synths, tight pop melodies and a marked contrast between vocal restraint and the frankness of the message. On stage, Sainte Nicole presents this project in venues and festivals such as Les Trois Baudets, FGO Barbara, Delta Festival and La Boule Noire, while appearing as the opening act for Dadi Freyr at the Trianon and for Kalika at EMB Sannois, before undertaking a tour in Canada.
