Knuckle G

Active very early on the French nu-disco scene, Knuckle G later moved toward a more underground house sound at the intersection of Chicago house, disco and soul. The French producer began releasing music at a young age and signed to a major label at 15, before shifting his approach toward a sound more directly connected to club circuits and underground aesthetics. His trajectory developed notably alongside the Parisian label De la Groove, where he released several tracks and a debut EP in 2018. In his productions, Knuckle G builds house around the sample, with a rhythmic sensibility nourished by piano and drums practice; this results in flexible structures, tight disco loops and a pronounced attention to groove. Between American house heritage, soul textures and French dancefloor culture, Knuckle G positions his music on a clear line focused on the track’s effectiveness and the movement between nu-disco and underground house.
