Sabura

Based in Hamburg, Sabura develops a club-oriented electronic sound that blends techno, melodic techno and progressive tension, featuring driving rhythms, dark textures and arrangements designed for the dancefloor. Active since the latter half of the 2010s, Sabura is rooted in the local German scene while performing across various contexts in Europe and Asia. His trajectory is linked to Waagenbau, the Hamburg club where he holds a residency — an anchor that highlights the rave-like, direct nature of his sets. At the same time, Sabura releases productions on labels such as Dunkelheit, Sweet Musique and Progressiv Astronaut, focusing on club-ready, taut and uncompromising tracks. Some of his pieces have also circulated as remixes by the likes of Teenage Mutants, Boy Next Door, BAAL and Yubik. Sabura also stages his own events, with programming and a visual universe consistent with a dark, physical and subcultural aesthetic.
