Juany Bravo

Born in South America, raised in North America and based in Thailand, Juany Bravo develops a project anchored in club electronic music, at the crossroads of Afro House, Latin House and a rhythmic aesthetic nourished by tribal percussion, disco touches and hip-hop inflections. Active since the mid-2010s, Juany Bravo circulates his music on labels such as Dear Deer, Make The Girls Dance or Insomniac, with a discography oriented toward singles and EP formats, designed for the dancefloor. His background connects him to an international scene between Asia, Europe and the Americas, with stints in cities like Ibiza and Barcelona, in a context of clubs and electronic events. Juany Bravo's style rests on strong grooves, straightforward arrangements and a search for fusion between Afro-diasporic rhythms and contemporary house textures, without tipping into overcharged production. In his sets as in his productions, Juany Bravo participates in a global dynamic where circulations between Latino, Afro House and vocal-house scenes redraw the contours of contemporary electronic music.
