Born in Los Angeles as Nathan Joseph Subbiondo, nate sib has been developing since the early 2020s a hybrid pop format blending electropop, hyperpop, alternative rock, cloud rap and club electronic music. His tracks are short, melodic and often marked by saturation, direct choruses and a deliberately abrasive vocal treatment. His first official single, “Why can’t you see”, produced by 2hollis and released in 2023, gave him broader exposure by appearing on the soundtrack of the game NHL 24. nate sib followed with the EP for you in 2024 and promoted his music on the live scene by opening for 2hollis on multiple tours across North America and Europe. In autumn 2024 nate sib signed with Republic Records and continued this evolution with singles like “hold on” and “take it slow”, where his pop became rougher and denser. In 2025 his collaboration with 2hollis on “Afraid” extended this dialogue between distorted pop, melodic rap and electronic energy, ahead of the release of the EP for us that same year.
