Rise Of Kronos

Rise Of Kronos is part of Hamburg's metal scene in Germany, directly continuing the band Surface by retaining most of its members and musical direction. Under this new name, Rise Of Kronos develops a death metal marked by a strong sense of groove, often heavy tempos, melodic riffs and dominant guttural vocals, with some more atmospheric passages. The change of identity in the early 2020s was accompanied by a thematic refocusing on ancient mythologies, figures of power and the violence of human societies—motifs that shape Rise Of Kronos's lyrics and visual imagery. Active on club and metal festival stages in Germany and neighboring countries, the band is consolidating its touring presence while releasing new tracks digitally, extending the experience gained with Surface within a tighter conceptual framework.
