Suki Soul

Based in northern United Kingdom, Suki Soul develops a project at the crossroads of soul, funk, disco, house, and club classics inherited from the 1970s and 1980s. A singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, Suki Soul relies on a stage career started in adolescence, with several original formations before circulating her voice on festival stages in the UK and Europe, notably Glastonbury and Cornbury. Her recent work sits primarily in the field of vocal electronic music, through collaborations with international DJs and producers where her soulful timbre and writing bring a warm dimension to productions oriented toward house, nu-disco and dance. Parallel to these collaborations, Suki Soul builds a personal repertoire focused on dance tracks, driven by melodic vocal lines, references to vintage grooves and a contemporary club sensibility. Suki Soul’s trajectory thus links live culture, vocal writing and production, with an aesthetic that draws on American Black music and its prolongation in British dance music.
