Maty Owl

Maty Owl has developed from Brazil a solo project at the crossroads of melodic electronic music, progressive house, deep house and more ambient, filmic atmospheres. A multi-instrumentalist, Maty Owl began music at age 11 with the classical guitar—a starting point that remains perceptible in a writing approach focused on melody, shifts in atmosphere and a form of sonic storytelling. His productions blend club pulse, evocative pads and an attention to detail, with a marked taste for nostalgic and immersive soundscapes. Over the course of his career, Maty Owl has released tracks on Anjunadeep Explorations and on his own label Soul Monument, while also developing in parallel a visual practice in motion design conceived as an extension of his musical universe. Moving between introspective listening and the dancefloor, Maty Owl is part of an electronic scene where organic aesthetics and emotional precision occupy a central place.
