Sully

Based in Detroit, American producer Sully, aka Christopher Sullivant, has been establishing himself on the North American bass music scene since the late 2010s. Active under this name since 2019, Sully develops a project centered on heavy, rhythmic electronics at the crossroads of dubstep, trap, drum & bass and hip‑hop influences, with a marked focus on textures and contrasts of intensity. His early tracks quickly attracted the attention of specialized labels, leading to a series of releases on WAKAAN, Deadbeats, Dim Mak and Kannibalen, giving Sully an identifiable place in the contemporary bass music landscape. In 2023, the release of his first full‑length album was accompanied by a headlining tour — a step that consolidated the coherence of his sonic universe. At the same time, Sully multiplied collaborations, notably with Peekaboo, Liquid Stranger, Mersiv, NGHTMRE and Flowdan, which extended his explorations of massive basslines, chopped percussion and processed vocals. On stage, Sully translates this aesthetic into sets aimed at clubs and major events, with notable appearances at Bass Canyon, Lost Lands, WAKAAN Music Festival and in large venues such as the WAMU Theater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
