Border One

Based in Belgium, Border One has developed since the mid-2010s a techno approach centered on repetition, rhythmic tension and subtle textural variation. As a producer and DJ he has gained attention with a series of maxi singles released on specialized European labels as well as on Border One Records, built around pared-down structures, sustained tempos and precise work on the low end. His tracks favor hypnotic motifs, often extended at length, that play with slight shifts, dry percussion and atmospheres both dense and airy — conceived for prolonged club contexts. On stage he primarily performs DJ sets in clubs and techno nights in Belgium and neighboring countries, within lineups oriented toward deep, repetitive sonorities.
