Killus
Formed in Vila-real, in the province of Castellón in Spain, Killus since the early 2000s has developed a repertoire occupying a space between industrial metal, groove metal, modern metal and shock rock, with a strong emphasis on electronic textures and a dark imagery. The band has built itself on a marked live approach, in which makeup, costumes and staging extend a music made of mechanical riffs, punchy rhythms and taut refrains. Over the course of its career, Killus has toured in Spain and then more widely in Europe and the United Kingdom, sharing the bill with acts from industrial metal, alternative and extreme metal. Its discography includes God Bless Us (2006), Extinction (2009), Never Something Was So Real (2013), Ultrazombies (2014), Imperator (2017), Devilish Deeds (2020) and Grøtesk (2023), which show an evolution toward a sound that is more direct and compact without breaking with the band's industrial identity. In 2024, Killus also marked its twenty-five years of activity with the release of XXV Years: Feeding the Monster, extending the journey of a band faithful to an abrasive, theatrical and strongly rhythmic aesthetic.
