Alex M.O.R.P.H.

Alex M.O.R.P.H., the stage name of Alexander Mieling, is a German producer and DJ born in 1975, active since the mid-1990s in the trance field. His first single, Paysages, was released in 1996, after which Alex M.O.R.P.H. developed a career marked by melodic and energetic trance, combining uplift, expansive synthetic lines and formats designed for both clubs and major genre events. His work as a remixer occupies an important place in his trajectory, with reworks for Armin van Buuren, ATB, Faithless, Markus Schulz and The Thrillseekers. From 2007 he has collaborated regularly with Paul van Dyk and joined the Vandit label milieu, contributing to tracks such as Get Back, Breaking Down and Voyager. His album discography includes Purple Audio (2009), Prime Mover (2012) and Not All Superheroes Wear Capes (2016). Since 2004 Alex M.O.R.P.H. has also run the HeavensGate project with Woody van Eyden, both as a radio outlet and as an extension of his roots in the European trance scene.
