Somniac One

Active within the Dutch hardcore scene, Somniac One builds an artistic universe centered on dark, fast, and heavily rhythmic industrial hardcore. A producer and DJ, she shapes tracks where high tempos, massive kicks and distorted textures blend with influences from techno, drum & bass and industrial music. Emerging in the mid-2010s with releases on specialist labels — notably PRSPCT Recordings and Meta4 — Somniac One has steadily established herself in underground parties and events dedicated to the most radical forms of hardcore across Europe. Her sets highlight her own productions, often built around minimalist melodic motifs, sharp breaks and extended build-ups, while incorporating selections that extend this abrasive aesthetic. Somniac One regularly explores the border between industrial hardcore, crossbreed and techno, playing with shifts in sonic density and tempo to maintain continuous tension on the dancefloor. This approach places sound staging, repetition and saturation at the core of her artistic identity.
