David Asko

Active on the French techno scene since the late 1990s, David Asko has developed a career as a DJ and producer tied to the genre’s most physical aesthetics. His world is rooted in dark, tense and frontal techno, with affinities for EBM and industrial textures, in sets crafted for both the club and more alternative contexts. David Asko also founded the Techno Body Music nights, a project that brings together electronic music, queer cultures and fetish and BDSM imagery, placing LGBTQIA+ audiences and related stage performances at its center. Over the years David Asko has played French and European techno stages and shared bills with artists such as Dax J, Rebekah, Paula Temple, Ben Klock, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, Marcel Dettmann and Laurent Garnier.
