Composer, singer and video artist from France, 09PEAS has been building an independent project since the 2010s that sits between US rap, alternative pop and electronic music, drawing on influences from experimental EDM to eurodance and certain Eastern European aesthetics. 09PEAS discovered production in 2013 and began working as a producer and audio engineer for other artists, before adding her own voice to her tracks from 2020 onward. That progression led her to the stage, with a first concert in Bordeaux in 2021, followed by a move to Paris to devote herself fully to her music. In 09PEAS’s songs, sung melodic lines intersect with rap-adjacent rhythms, bold electronic synths and songwriting that blends tension, nostalgia and club culture. The visual dimension is also central to her work: 09PEAS directs and produces her own videos. Her universe is expressed notably through the projects Peas Garden, Rockstar Tragedy, Cloud 9 and Summer Angels.
