Die P
Born Patricia Pembele in 1987 in Munich, Die P grew up in Bonn, where her family settled when she was six, and discovered hip‑hop as a teenager, writing her first lyrics at 14. After making a name for herself on the battle circuit in Cologne‑Ehrenfeld as MC Double P and spending several years on local stages, she released her first EP Bonnität in 2017 and gained wider attention with the single Alle Reden in 2019. Her career continued on the 365XX label, founded by Lina Burghausen, with Tape (2020) and 3,14 (2021) — an album focused on German‑language rap with classic structures, informed by boom bap, heavy bass and direct writing, far from the genre’s more melodic trends. Die P also appears on "Touché", a track by Main Concept from the album Main Concept 3.0, and that year performed at the Reeperbahn Festival. Her discography shows a steady evolution without rupture: BONNanza and Tape 2 (2022), Bring da P Vol.2 (2024), followed by Bring da P Vol.3 and Magazin in 2025. Across her songs Die P blends the energy of street rap, nods to backpack rap and, depending on the track, openings to R&B or reggae, while retaining a dense, frontal delivery.
