Turbojazz

Under the name Turbojazz, Tommy Garofalo has developed in Italy a career as a producer, DJ and label head at the crossroads of house, broken beat, boogie, disco and electronic jazz‑funk. Active on the underground scene since the 2010s, Turbojazz makes groove‑driven music that is both supple and dense, where club rhythms converse with soulful textures and jazz‑inspired harmonies. His activity includes numerous releases on international labels, DJ work across Europe, the Americas, South Africa and Japan, and participation in the Red Bull Music Academy in 2017. He runs the label Last Forever Records and co‑founded the collective Jaxx Madicine, with which he released three EPs and an album. As a solo artist, Turbojazz released Whateverism in 2022, a record that continues this aesthetic between dance culture, the heritage of black music and warm electronic songwriting.
