ANII

Born in Poland as Ania Iwińska and based in London after studying music production at Point Blank, ANII has built a career within the European house and techno scenes since the mid-2010s. Her aesthetic combines dark, deep techno, progressive melodic lines and a more soulful deep house, with an approach focused on tension, groove and immersive atmospheres. ANII drew attention through releases on labels such as Stil vor Talent, Polymath, Sincopat, Parquet and Making You Dance, before also releasing on Kompakt in 2018. Her productions often develop in successive layers, with crisp rhythms, wide pads and a rising structure that places them at the junction between hypnotic club music and more introspective writing. Alongside her releases, ANII has established a steady DJ presence on the international electronic scene, in a register where the continuity of the mix matters as much as the dynamics of the tracks. Between her Polish origins and her London base, ANII has shaped a coherent identity situated between melodic depth, techno pulse and a sense of movement.
