Kazam

Born in Biarritz and based in Paris, Kazam has been developing since 2013 a production project that blends house, hip‑hop and electronic music in a largely instrumental register. His music combines rhythms drawn from 1990s hip‑hop, house textures and a strong taste for jazz harmonies, and his writing can also incorporate references to the imagery of Japanese animation. Kazam composes all of his tracks himself, working in a format that ranges from beatmaking to more club‑oriented pieces, without committing to a single aesthetic. This approach places his work at the intersection of several scenes — electronic, instrumental hip‑hop and looser grooves — with a constant focus on atmosphere and melody. Over the course of his career, Kazam also joined Balagan Music, the electronic label of Wagram Music, marking a new phase in his activity as a producer between southwestern France and Paris.
