Info
LA Priest is the solo project of Sam Dust, the former frontman of Late of the Pier, who kept from the British indie scene that taste for blends and controlled missteps. His electronic pop moves on instinct: synths that undulate, rhythms a little off-kilter, a supple voice and arrangements that shed their skin as they evolve, balancing indietronica, twisted funk and light psychedelia.
On March 12, 2027, in Paris at Le Trabendo, he returns with Into The Sky. A concert conceived as a pop lab more than as a technical demonstration, where the songs stretch out, rearrange themselves and reveal textures, glitches and ruptures. After records largely crafted on his own, followed by collaborations that broadened his spectrum, LA Priest comes to defend a new chapter, tailored for those who like pop to keep a shadowy edge and a spirit of experimentation.
