Info
Texas will come to the Gashouder in Amsterdam on Wednesday, 3 November 2027, with a set centered on the 30th anniversary of White On Blonde, their 1997 album in which they deliberately moved away from the Britpop wave and leaned more toward soul and trip-hop. Live, you can expect that warmer groove and the big choruses that make the album so recognizable.
Frontwoman Sharleen Spiteri is at the center: her voice and stage presence carry songs such as Say What You Want, Black Eyed Boy and Halo, alongside other well-known material from the repertoire. The tour also ties in with the reissue of White On Blonde and with the new, previously unreleased Another Way To Cry, a track that leans on Northern Soul and sits in the same vein as the classics. An evening for those who want to relive the hits and wonder how Texas sounds that period today.
