Info
Dominic Fike plays AFAS Live in Amsterdam on Sunday, February 28, 2027, on his European tour Comedy Tragedy Parody. Do not expect a tightly defined genre, but that characteristic mix that launched him: rap that glides into pop melodies, guitar rock that suddenly brushes against R&B, and lyrics that hit close to home.
The tour aligns with his third album How To Quit Smoking, which happened while he was on the road: writing and recording in hotel rooms, in the tour bus, and backstage. You hear that approach in the material: direct, dynamic, and made to breathe live. Of course there is also room for tracks from his earlier releases, from the EP Don't Forget About Me, Demos to the albums What Could Possibly Go Wrong and Sunburn, in which he continues to push his sound further. Comedy Tragedy Parody in Amsterdam feels like a snapshot of an artist who is reinventing himself on tour.
