Info
On January 8, 2027, Hugues Aufray lays down his guitars at Bocapole in Bressuire for 'Escapada!', a concert that traverses a life of songs without getting stuck in nostalgia. A familiar figure on the Francophone scene since the 1950s, he returns with this blend of folk and down-to-earth storytelling, carried by a voice that tells as much as it sings.
On stage, one finds again what has marked his style: the art of interpreting and conveying a story, with a repertoire nourished by decades of albums and tours, and the bridges he built early with the American folk tradition. Bob Dylan adaptations, which have become classics since 'Aufray chante Dylan,' naturally find their place beside his flagship songs and newer reinterpretations. An evening conceived as an escape, simple and direct, where the songs connect the eras.
