Info
Mike + The Mechanics bring their “Back on Track Tour” to Brighton Dome in Brighton on June 17, 2027, with Mike Rutherford steering a set built on tight songwriting and those big, melodic choruses that made the band a staple of late-80s and 90s British pop-rock. Expect the show to move smoothly between polished, radio-built rock and softer, soul-tinged moments, with a repertoire that still hits hard for anyone who grew up on “Silent Running (On Dangerous Ground)”, “All I Need Is a Miracle” or “The Living Years”.
Rutherford’s post-Genesis project has always been about voices as much as hooks: today’s lineup keeps that tradition alive, with a live sound designed to serve the songs rather than rewrite them. It’s the kind of concert where the choruses do the heavy lifting, the band plays clean and direct, and the classics sit naturally alongside the later era material from The Road, Let Me Fly and Out of the Blue.
